Bio
Joseph P. Keefe is a Research Project Manager for the California Institute for Telecommunications and Information Technology (Calit2) at the University of California, San Diego (UCSD). He has a B.S. in Applied Mathematics from the California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo, with graduate study in Applied Mathematics at the University of British Columbia in Vancouver, Canada and at the University of Washington in Seattle, WA. His career at UCSD, includes: Scientific Programming for the Ocean Engineering Research Group (OERG) at the Scripps Institution of Oceanography (SIO); Resarch Computing and Systems Management for various departments and research units at UCSD, including the UCSD Cancer Center, Department of Mathematics and the Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry
Current Projects
Optiplanet/Optiportal
Providing project management and technical assistance for all aspects of Optiportal deployments and research developement. See the Optiportal Wiki for information on building on Optiportal.
Greenlight
Providing technical assistance for the project. This includes integration of research projects within UCSD and general systems consultation. See: Greenlight Wiki
KAUST SPP - Visualization
Providing systems engineering and integration assistance in the development, staging and deployment of visualization spaces; currently related to Optiportal technologies, such as large format tiled walls and cluster development. See: KAUST Visualization
